
13 Students of D. Y. Patil Engineering Selected for Research Internships at IITs and NITs
Thirteen students from the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning at D. Y. Patil College of Engineering & Technology, Kasaba Bawada, Kolhapur, have been selected for prestigious research internships at reputed institutions including various Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs).
These institutes are recognized as premier institutions of national importance, and the selected students will receive an opportunity to work under the guidance of renowned researchers and scientists across advanced research domains.
Students Prashant Shingave, Saniya Kondkar, and Samiksha Arulkar were selected for six-month research internships at IIT Hyderabad. Kshitij Sutar and Pranali Patil were selected at IIT Bhubaneswar for research in Machine Learning and Deep Learning domains.
Additionally, Abhishek Patil, Rajvardhan Dange, Satya Barekar, Sai Prasad Londhe, and Harshikesh Jagtap were selected at NIT Goa for research internships in Deep Networks and Digital Hardware Design. Devraj Mane and Krutika Kamble secured research internship opportunities at IIT Mumbai under the guidance of Prof. Soham Mujumdar.
Another notable achievement includes final-year student and scholarship topper Abhishek Shirole, who was selected for a research internship at the Academic and Training Department of the National Institute of Technology, New Delhi.
The college management congratulated all the selected students for their achievement and appreciated their dedication, technical skills, and academic excellence. The institution emphasized that such opportunities help students gain exposure to advanced research, innovation, and industry-oriented learning experiences.
