D. Y. Patil Engineering Alumnus Achieves Success in UPSC CDS Examination

Arthav Santosh Patil, an alumnus of the Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Department of D. Y. Patil College of Engineering & Technology, Kasaba Bawada, Kolhapur, has achieved remarkable success in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Combined Defence Services (CDS) Examination.

Demonstrating exceptional dedication and determination, Arthav secured an impressive All India Rank of 32 in the highly competitive UPSC CDS examination. Following this achievement, he has been selected for the prestigious post of Sub Lieutenant in the Indian Naval Service.

Arthav belongs to the 2024 graduating batch of the institution. His accomplishment is considered a matter of pride for the college, as the UPSC CDS examination is regarded as one of the most challenging competitive examinations in the country. Along with pursuing engineering education, he successfully balanced disciplined preparation and commitment toward achieving his goal of serving the nation.

The institution stated that Arthav’s success will inspire many students to pursue careers in defence services and other competitive examinations with confidence and dedication.
