D. Y. Patil School of Architecture Organizes Design Exhibition Showcasing Student Creativity

D. Y. Patil School of Architecture, Kasaba Bawada, Kolhapur, organized a two-day exhibition to showcase the innovative architectural designs and academic projects created by students from various academic years. The exhibition was held on 15th and 16th April with the objective of promoting creativity, practical learning, and awareness about the field of architecture among aspiring students and visitors.

The exhibition featured a wide range of student work including architectural design projects, building construction concepts, graphics, interior design, urban design, and final-year architectural thesis models and drawings. Students displayed creative models, presentations, and innovative concepts developed through academic and practical learning experiences.

One of the major highlights of the exhibition was the use of advanced technologies and software tools by students from second to fourth year. Students demonstrated artistic and innovative architectural designs using 3D printing technology, digital modeling techniques, and architectural software applications. Final-year students also presented detailed project work using advanced design tools and presentation methodologies.

The exhibition aimed to encourage students to develop creativity, technical knowledge, design thinking, and innovation in the field of architecture. It also provided an opportunity for newly admitted and aspiring architecture students to understand various aspects of architectural education and professional practices.

The event included a special seminar by Architect Abhijit Naik and Architect Shakil Mulla, who guided students on current trends, professional opportunities, and practical approaches in architecture and design.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Architect Satish Jagdale, National Council Member of the Council of Architecture and Vice Chairman of the National Heritage and Conservation Committee. The initiative was organized under the guidance of Chairman Dr. Sanjay D. Patil, Vice Chairman MLA Satej D. Patil, Trustee Kruturaj Patil, Executive Director Dr. A. K. Gupta, Principal Dr. Santosh Bhede, Registrar Dr. L. V. Malade, and Architecture Department Head Architect Indrajeet Jadhav.
