Project-Based Learning Opens New Career Opportunities for Students.

D. Y. Patil College of Engineering & Technology, Kasaba Bawada, Kolhapur, organized a successful concluding ceremony for the “AICTE Eduskills Virtual Internship” program, where 266 students successfully completed internships in advanced technologies and project-based learning domains.

Speaking at the event, renowned educational thinker Prof. Ramkumar Rajendran emphasized that project-based learning enhances students’ problem-solving abilities, innovation skills, and practical knowledge, making them better prepared for industry demands and future career opportunities. He highlighted that experiential learning plays a crucial role in shaping technically competent and industry-ready engineers.

The internship program provided students with hands-on exposure to various emerging technology domains including Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence applications. Students successfully completed 68 innovative projects under the guidance of faculty mentors and industry experts, followed by a poster presentation showcasing their work.

The event was held in the presence of Chairman Dr. Sanjay D. Patil, Trustee Satyajit Patil, Executive Director Dr. Anilkumar Gupta, Principal Dr. Santosh Bhede, Registrar Dr. Suresh Mhalde, and several department heads and faculty members. Internship Coordinator Dr. Ashwin T. S., along with faculty mentors and trainers, played a key role in guiding students throughout the program.

The management appreciated the efforts of students and faculty members and stated that such initiatives help students develop technical expertise, research aptitude, teamwork, and innovation skills required in today’s competitive professional environment.
